Phil Martin

Phil Martin

Phil joined Aldersgate Talks in 2018, and also works part-time at Moorgate Talks. He became a Christian when he was 14 on a week-long holiday where he heard the message of Jesus’ death for sin and the free grace of God for sinners explained for the first time.  He is passionate about preaching and teaching the good news about Jesus Christ in the City, where people from all over the world come to work and spend much of their waking lives.  As a new graduate, Phil worked for a polling company in Westminster before training for ministry at St Helen’s, Bishopsgate and at Oak Hill College. He is married to Anna, and they have three unbelievably energetic, loud, destructive but somehow delightful boys.  As a family, they are involved at St Anne’s, Limehouse on Sundays.
